Crafting a Shape to Elevate Riders' Skills

The new State 2.0 was designed with the goal of taking riders' skills to the next level. Drawing insights from other asymmetrical designs, we found that creating a shorter but more effective edge on the toe-side made hard-to-learn wake jumps much easier. This is because the reduced rail length requires less initiation when applying toe-side pressure. Once set, the smoother toe-side transition is then maintained by the State 2.0's thinner profile molded-in fin, which generates less drag and a better release off the top of the wake. To further assist riders, we added subtle Toe-Side Footbed Risers to help create more leverage when pressure is applied. The longer, more traditional heel-side edge complements this asymmetrical design by allowing the natural body position of the rider to generate stability and speed into the wake without sacrificing pop due to reduced surface area. The State 2.0 has been extensively tested and proven to be the optimal choice for riders looking to master the foundations of wakeboarding.

Abrupt Continuous Rocker: Adding a Kick to Speed The Abrupt Continuous rocker line of the State 2.0 adds a little more kick to the speed that many riders seek. This rocker line transitions to a slightly exaggerated tip and tail rocker, creating added pop without compromising speed into the wake.

Monocoque Construction: Durability Through Integration The State 2.0 features a Monocoque Construction, where the top and bottom fiberglass layers are integrated into a single unit. This design generates a more durable board, better equipped to withstand side impacts and prevent delamination.

Layered Glass: Consistent Pop, Year After Year The fiberglass used in the State 2.0 is available in three different weights, depending on the board. Unlike traditional woven glass fibers that can separate over time, the Layered Glass approach ensures that every Hyperlite deck will maintain the same consistent pop off the double up, year after year.
